About the Napa Valley Farmworker Foundation

Mission

To support and promote Napa Valley’s vineyard workers through education and professional development

About

The Napa Valley Farmworker Foundation is the first of its kind in the United States.  Since 2011, we have raised over $3 million to support educational and professional development opportunities, reached over 14,000 vineyard workers and their families, and provided over 1,870 hours of education.  Through the generosity of many, the Foundation has been able to expand its English Literacy Program, provide advanced leadership and professional development courses, develop a scholarship and mentor/internship program, and much more. NVG’s steadfast commitment to the betterment of our farmworker community is driven by our conviction to building and supporting a sustainable workforce, and the work of the Napa Valley Farmworker Foundation is critical to achieving this goal and to the continued success of the Napa Valley wine industry.
